Lost News & Time Slot Changes

Just a bit of info about what’s going on with the remaining episodes of Lost. Most of us already know that they only had half of the 16 episode season filmed before the writers strike kicked in. It looks like we’ll get the same story, but not quite as many episodes; they’re planning on cramming remainder of the story into the five extra episodes they’ll be filming, bringing this seasons total to 13. “We will have to condense some stories,” is what Carlton Cuse is saying. Great idea. I love the character development on the show, but I can honestly do without the filler. They also plan for all the episodes to air without a break, which is also a good thing.
And you know, if they ever want to add some of that filler material back in, they can always do more Lost: The Missing Pieces webisodes like they did last year. Speaking of those, I found the last one in particular VERY interesting:

One more thing to add! They’re shifting around the time slot for the show once again, but we’re used to this. The last five/six episodes of the show will air in late April at 10pm, after new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. I actually really liked the show airing at 10, but it hurt the ratings before and it will probably do the same thing again.
And it looks like there WILL be a break, and they’ll hold of episode 8 to kick off the second set of episodes. Seriously, finding out when to watch Lost is becoming just as complicated as watching Lost.
