Grey’s Anatomy actress Kate Walsh has followed up her hit fragrance named ‘Boyfriend’ with a new scent named ‘Billonaire Boyfriend’ because what’s better than having a regular man? Having one that has lots of money, duh. There are so many celebrities who have their own perfumes as part of a very obvious money-making scheme (Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber) but Kate Walsh is kind of a weird one – does anyone actually aspire to be like her? She seems nice and all, but she’s hardly a lifestyle brand unto herself.
Besides the slightly offensive and dumb name which sounds pretty shallow and golddigger-ish, Kate doesn’t seem like a particularly interesting or stylish person – sorry to her fans, but she’s not even the hottest doc on Grey’s which isn’t saying much. Alas, her previous scent, the regular ‘boyfriend’ was a huge hit, along with all the candles and other junk she sold with it – it all sold out in one day! Whatever billionaire has a room full of Kate Walsh perfume must be the same person responsible for making Jessica Simpson a fashion tycoon, because nothing else explains this strange phenomena.
