LeAnn’s got “the sniffles”, skips Shape mag party

Just as an engagement story breaks yesterday, LeAnn’s rep claims today that her client has the flu and was under doctor’s orders not to go out so that’s why she skipped a Shape magazine party that was thrown in her honor last night to celebrate her third time on their cover.  And of course her rep says it had nothing to do with the recent brouhaha about the Shape editor that apologized for putting her cheating face on the cover but then said she didn’t say that.  She also canceled a show that she was supposed to do today in N.Y.

My guess is that when they found out that E! spilled the beans on their engagement LeAnn went into hiding because she didn’t want to deal with people’s judgmental stares and questions on the audacity her and Cibrian have to now be getting married.
