Lea Michele is Still a Bitch
Posted by Angela on January 8th, 2011
And this time, it’s not just rumors. “True Grit”‘s Hailee Steinfeld confirms that the “Glee” star snubbed her while she was auditioning for the movie on the Paramount lot and even made her cry.
“When I was auditioning for ‘True Grit,’ I was on the Paramount lot. I was wearing clothes from the 1800s that were big and uncomfortable. ‘Glee’ also films on the lot, and I love the show,” Steinfeld told J-14 magazine. “I saw Lea Michele just walking to her trailer, and I was like, ‘That’s the girl from ‘Glee.’ I’ve got to go ask for her autograph!’ So I walked up to her and asked for her autograph, but she walked by and a guy came and said, ‘Sorry, now’s not a good time!’”
The young actress, who stars alongside Matt Damon and Jeff Bridges in ‘Grit,’ was so heartbroken by the brush off that she left in tears. “I had to walk all the way back to the car wearing what I was wearing. I was practically crying on the way home,” Steinfeld said. “I was so sad! But she’s beautiful, and she has an amazing voice.”
Just brush it off, Hailee. You’re getting Oscar buzz and this nobody has already been reduced to about one solo per Glee episode. Also, Hailee’s cute as hell and Glee and Lea Michele suck.

The author of this blog post sounds like quite the bitch herself.
Celebrities – or any persons – are not required to acquiesce to random people asking for their autographs. It’s bizarre to think that we are owed something.
Secondly, Lea Michele has over a decade of Broadway experience, 2 Golden Globe nominations, an Emmy nomination, and is the lead of one of the most popular shows on TV.
Hardly a “nobody”, wouldn’t you say?
Steinfeld, on the other hand, is not a “name” by any means. She may have done well in True Grit, but she’s a nobody at this point to the larger public. First she begs for an autograph, which is kind of pathetic in itself, gets pissy about getting a refusal, and then complains about it to a newspaper. Classy.
So it looks like we have two bitches on our hands here: Steinfeld and the author of this post.

Well said, X.
Furthermore, Steinfeld asked for an autograph on the Paramount lot, where Lea was working. The Glee cast has an insane schedule with recording studios and dance rehearsals on top of the usual stuff.
Last night, for example, I believe they wrapped at 6.30 AM.
So Lea not stopping for an autograph during a work day while getting back to her trailer? Understandable.

No one person can please everyone. Stop being so judgmental and bitchy. You have no idea it may not have been a good time as stated.

Funny Lea only getting a solo on the most talked about show for the past two years is way more than you will ever accomplish. Who the hell are you anyway. I have seen many tweets, pictures, tumblr accounts that Lea was perfectly lovely in their meetings. She was at work who know what was happening with Lea. We only her this girl account that happened some time ago.

It’s funny how critical people are based on hear say. Angela while you are more than entitled to your opinion you may want to be a little bit more informed before posting something so negative about a person you have never met. I think the title of this post should be “Lea Michele was actually working and didn’t have time to do a random autograph and the rejected, lesser known actress decided to throw a tantrum about it”
I hate bloggers like this – ignorant and narrow minded.

Guys, get a life! Lea is not going to pay any of you for defending her here.

There is something to be said for common decency and good manners. If she didn’t have time, she could have simply said so rather than ignoring the girl and walking on by. And while I agree she’s not obligated to sign autographs, she does owe something to the fans that have supported her and the show to the successes they’ve reached. Why do you think actors and artists are always thanking their fans when accepting awards? Whether she chooses to show that gratitude in even the simple act of signing her name on a piece of paper is really what distinguishes between classy from bitchy.

I think the bigger picture is the fact that there was NOT an unsettling crowd of people…nor where there mobs or even two or three people hounding “poor Lea”…there was ONE person. ONE person IN COSTUME, that perhaps Lea should’ve seen as not only a fan, but a peer!

Hailee Steinfeld shouldn’t worry about being snubbed. The girl is far more talented than that Glee diva.

OMG! So many loser Glee fans in this blog defending their Queen!! Please stop defending celebrities as if you really know them. Are you getting paid to defend her and criticize the other girl?

Seriously? I find it sad that people are rushing to defend this total stranger and readily calling a 14 year old, seemingly sweet girl a bitch.

So Lea is a bitch because she doesn’t want to sign an autograph? While working? I don’t see the connection…….

I hate this blogger. It wasnt Lea’s fault that Hailee cried. Its not every celebs duty to sign autographs 24/7.
