Lake Bell Does Androgny at Sundance

Androgyny has made a fashionable comeback – from Lady Gaga‘s cross dressing escapade on the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan, to the growing popularity of uber-andro model Andrej Pejic (born a boy, as beautiful as any female model) – it’s clear that fashion is having a bit of a unisex moment. Another fashionable and equally as androgynous fascination that is making a return is the masculine inspired suit for women – that sort of breezy Yves Saint Laurent smoking suit we first saw on the likes of Katherine Hepburn, and has since made a return on many occasions.

Here, actress Lake Bell has adapted that idea of masculinity for the Sundance Film Festival – she’s rocking a fitted slimline grey suit complete with an argyle sweater and crisp white shirt.  So how does she do it? With matching hunting-boots et all?

There is still something inheritable feminine about Lake – even here, when she appears bare-faced and suited up. Her wide smile and come-hither eyes make this outfit work and she looks completely effortless too.
