Lady Gaga Complains About How Crap Her Fantastic Life Is

There is nothing worse than hearing a celebrity complaining about how rough and horrible things are as a celebrity, because they’re already got so much more than everyone else: fame, money, success, fans – it would just seem a tad strange to then dwell on the negative wouldn’t it? Not for Lady Gaga – in a new blog post, she’s written about the terrible year she’s had, and although they really don’t sound that tough to deal with considering her rather monumental career as it stands, she seems frustrated:

”Today is a really happy day for me. The past year was a challenge, and I’m so happy to have my spirit back. I felt in chains at times. ‘Whether it be the record label disagreeing with me on single choices, or directors who could only create an idea of ‘Gaga’ or what I’ve ‘done before’ and weren’t able to move forward.”

She also mentions something about a single that was dragged through the mud and also says she has been struggling with her body image:

”And there was also, of course, the incessant dragging of the most important single of my career in dead-beaten-horse-mud. Then there were all the personal moments. Betrayed by lifelong friends, mentors I’ve had for years suddenly taking advantage of me, and a massive struggle with my body image. I’ve grown and left most of these things behind, the monsters of fame are very real.”

Does Gaga really have a right to complain about these things? Shouldn’t she just get over it and be grateful for the positives? She’s after all, mega famous and super lucky!
