Kristen Stewart Doesn’t Care if People Hate or Love Her

Following the recent cheating scandal, Kristen Stewart says she has learned to ignore haters and equally doesn’t care if people love her.  Although she never wanted to make anyone angry or upset, she doesn’t let anyone effect her or what she’s doing and simply just pretends it doesn’t exist:

“It’s not a terrible thing if you’re either loved or hated. But honestly. I don’t care ’cause it doesn’t keep me from doing my sh-t. And I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention.”

Speaking on how the media treat her and often write negatively about her, Kristen says that it often makes her feel trapped and stuck in one place but recently she’s been trying to fight back and doesn’t want to feel like she can’t go out because she’ll be followed so she’s trying to push herself to get out there:

“It’s a little annoying having to be so compartmentalized. I go from box to box to box. Like right now, this is so crazy ’cause we’re out at a restaurant. but I’m going out a lot more now. I was starting to get closed off and self-conscious, and I’m trudging forth into the world more often.”

Kristen may have launched her career young, but at the beginning she struggled to get parts and was almost about to give up when she managed to land a role that kept her going until she made it:

“I decided a year after not getting any commercials, ‘F–k it. I won’t make my mom drive around Los Angeles anymore.’ I also got so nervous for every single audition. I was just dying. I had one appointment left and my mom said, ‘Have a little integrity and go to your last one.’ And it was The Safety of Objects. If I hadn’t gotten that, I would have been done.”
