Kid Rock Speaks Out

I love that news is so slow this week that we’re still talking about the VMA’s. That was so five days ago. But here I am, posting about an interview Kid Rock did to clear the air about what went down between him and Tommy Lee at the VMA’s. So, here are the important parts:

“It’s been going on for five years. I did what any man would do, any man across the country, across the world would do. It kills me just to be associated with, to have my name in a sentence with him, it honestly destroys me.

Last contact I had with him was when me and Pam were going through our divorce. He picked up her Blackberry and started e-mailing me a lot of horrendous things. It was extremely disrespectful. I calmly told him, … Listen, I will see you again … and that was the end of it, because I don’t talk, you know.

I came back from the bathroom and he was sitting right there [in his chair at the VMA's]. It was even more disrespectful after everything he’s said, I was like that’s enough, that’s it.”

And apparently Kid asked Tommy “calmly” (or at least that’s how he remembers it) to move a few times, and Tommy kept taunting him telling him to “go f” himself. We all know what happened after that. It’s pretty funny because Tommy’s version of the story goes more like this:

Here I am minding my own biz [when] I get a tap on the shoulder from Kid Pebble … i stand up and embrace him with a semi hug and say ‘Hey dude … What up”?? He punches me in the face … well if ya wanna call it that!? … more like a b**** slap! … Wuss!!

Alrighty then. Both of these dudes are probably too stoned to remember anything anyways.

Afterwards Tommy Lee had a make out session with Chriss Angel:

I guess Britney chased him over to the other team.
