Kendall Jenner Speaks on Her Fashion Week Experience

She may have shot to fame on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ but Kendall Jenner is beginning to step out in to the spotlight on her own as a legitimate model. Kendall made her first catwalk appearance at the Marc Jacobs Autumn/Winter 2014 show which took place during New York Fashion Week recently and she’s now spoken on the whole experience. Kendall had to bleach her eyebrows for the experience and says she was quite shocked by her look for the show. She explains that she redyed them after the appearance:

”Are these real?” But I can promise you, they were completely bleached and completely real. It took a few minutes for them to do it backstage – not a long time, but it did feel like a major change for me. Literally right after the show, I dyed them back. I mean, I asked a makeup artist to dye them back. Fortunately, they’ve always been a pretty dark brown, and it was an easy color to copy with dye.”

Kendall then flew to London where she sat next to Vogue editor Anna Wintour at the Topshop Unique show. She explained that now that she’s been through the creative process as a model, she knows what goes in to a runway presentation and has more respect for the effort involved:

”Now that I’ve done a major show like that, I have a really new appreciation for models on the runway. And when I sit front row now, I understand all the hard work that happens a little bit better. But I’m really excited to be here for Topshop because I love their clothing, and I think it’s going to be an amazing show. I’m wearing Topshop today, obviously, but the thing is, I would wear it no matter what. Even if I wasn’t here!”
