According to Us Weekly, the former couple is back in contact and Joe wants to make up for the infamous breakup. According to a source close to Joe, “he wants her back” and wants to show her that he changed. He even attended her September 1 concert in San Jose, California. Still, they’re just “testing the waters” for now.

A source close to Taylor also insists the pair is “putting their past behind them.” The past they’re trying to forget about includes bitter songs they wrote about each other after the split. Swift sang about the relationship in “Forever and Always” and trashed Joe’s rebound, Camilla Belle, in the song “Better Than Revenge.” Jonas got in on the game by singing about Taylor and “all the tears on her guitar” in his song “Much Better.”
