Jennifer Lawrence, who was previously nominated for an Oscar for her role in Winter’s Bone, and who is set to achieve major stardom in upcoming film ‘Hunger Games’, says she can’t understand those who are shocked when they achieve stardom, and doesn’t get when celebrities don’t like their fame, because they put themselves in that position in the first place. Jennifer commented that she doesn’t believe in constraining how famous she should be:
”I always think it’s kind of strange when actors are shocked by fame, or claim to be disgusted by it. It’s kind of like, ‘Really? You knew what you were doing. You’re in movies’. You can’t put walls around yourself and say, ‘No, I’ll only let myself get this successful’.”
Jennifer also doesn’t believe in looking herself up on the internet, although she admits that it’s something she has done in the past – she says that it’s a really bad idea and is a bad way to kick off her day:
”It was such a bad idea and I shouldn’t have done it. And I’ve banned myself from doing it again because it’s so masochistic and such a terrible way to start my morning.”
