Jake & Reese Split

I heard about this a few weeks ago but I couldn’t find enough infomation on it.  So, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have “officially” broken up.  Oh really?  I was never convinced that these two were really together to begin with; it seemed like they were working on a movie together, and everyone WANTED to link them romantically, but we never saw any real proof.

According to People Magazine, however, the two were dating but now it’s “totally and completely over”, says a so called source close to Reese. The source goes on to say, “Reese was the one who had to do it.  She just got out of a divorce and was so concerned with her family, she just didn’t have the time for him and he really demanded that.  They’re still friends. Things are fine, but it was a clean break – [there's] no chance of getting back together.” They wouldn’t have lasted anyways…she’s 31 with kids and he’s 26; last thing she needs is another immature guy (but at least Jake would have a reason to be immature).
