Idol Tidbit: After last nights result show they had a coin toss to determine the order of last weeks finale. The winner? Archuleta, who decided to go second. Five out of six finales the contestant who went second won, the only exception was the only other male/male finale.

She spoke candidly about the change from actress to motherhood and back again, and says she couldn’t have done it without an amazing nanny. She didn’t get a nanny until Apple was 14 months old, but then was forced to when Daddy, Chris Martin, went on tour with Coldplay.
And, like most other mothers before her, she fell in love with her baby girl and was torn between work and play, but she finally had to just get back to it. Leaving Apple for work though was not the hardest part, losing the baby weight in a thin obsessed industry WAS.
So perhaps that is the real reason she was under the radar fro so long, and with her second child, baby Moses, she packed on 40 pounds and said the last 20 were the toughest. My, aren’t they always. She says her biggest issues were the stomach roll, the back fat, and the post-preganncy bootie.
Ahhh yes, even Gwyneth has her fat days. With back fat and a stomach roll even! Why does that make me feel good?
But she says she lost it through a heavy workout regime and eating organic food that wasn’t processed. She does however have her vices – chocolate chips, coffee, and wine. Well, yes, even thin girls need to cave once in a while.

Victoria Beckham has been spending some time in London lately, and here she is being spotted leaving the Dorchester Hotel in London in all her Posh fabulosity. Immaculately styled, per Victoria, she looks fantastic in a gorgeous high waisted skirt paired with what else, Louboutins.
It is rumored that Victoria is working on some recording right now, and hence her trip to London, as she has been seen in and out of Radio 1 Studios while over in the UK. But she has been avoiding the alcoholic beverages as of late which has led to some speculation that another Baby Becks may be in the oven.
She is quick to deny the rumors however, and says, not only isn’t there anything cooking now, but not for a while. Her three little boys are still quite young, and she says she and David want to enjoy them for a while longer. I have to say by looking at her, I have no idea who thought she may have an eggo preggo’d, but they may need to have their eyes checked.

During the day yesterday, John was spotted doing the SoHo solo thing and getting some errands done, and Jennifer was nowhere to be seen. The two came out in full force together for a cutesy romantic evening at the Waverly Inn last night. This evening is a follow up to their much talked about romantic weekend in Miami last weekend.
When their evening at the Waverly was winding down, the couple tried to ‘not make things obvious’ by leaving the restaurant separately? What?? Point please? Nonetheless, all of the obligatory paps were around to ensure that yes, both of them were spotted, albeit separately, we all know they are very much together.
And expect to hear more on this, because Jennifer’s movie ‘Marley and Me’ is moving to Philly, the City of Brotherly Love, to continue filming. Compared to Miami, that’s right next door to her newfound honey-bee. Aww….how long before they are engaged? It IS Hollywood after all.
Tonight, the final three contestants will become two. We will finally know who will make it to the finale on ‘American Idol’ season 7, with a chance to become the next ‘American Idol.’ It’s down to David Cook, David Archuleta, and Syesha Mercado.

Tiff: The final three performed “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now.” David Archuleta sounded a little flat…. they sounded good singing together, but I’d feel really silly doing those moves.

Tiff: Former ‘Idol’ winner Fantasia Barrino came back to perform and showed off her bright red hair. Simon looked less than amused during her performance. Yeah, I’m sorry.
Kim: That was easily the most entertaining this this season. Thank you Fantasia. Thank you.

Tiff: David Archuleta was asked to come out first, and they showed more of his hometown video. He was cute after when he said it was embarrassing because they showed a lot of him crying. The show was really playing up the potential of a”shocker” because Ryan was saying “This could be David’s last time on the stage, we want to celebrate his time here,” before he saw a video of his journey. Then, Syesha Mercado was asked to join Ryan center stage, where she got to see more of her hometown video, and then the video of her journey as well. And last, David Cook was also asked to join Ryan, where he also got to see more of his hometown video, and a video of his time on the show.
Kim: Gosh.
The Person Going Home Is

Tiff: Syesha Mercado. Poor David Archuleta seemed like he was about to pass out after he was told he was going to be in the finale. This is what I wanted, and predicted earlier in the season. David Cook or David Archuleta will be the next ‘Idol.’
Kim: WHAT?!? You predicted that? You really went out on a limb there! You must be psychic because NO ONE saw that coming! Brother…
SOMEONE does not look amused.
And a big HA HA to all the Cooktards who wanted little David out!
Suuuuucks tooo beeee yooouuuuuu :*

Tonight, things almost come to an end. The final three, David Cook, David Archuleta, and Syesha Mercado sing three songs each on ‘American Idol,’ season 7. The performers choose one song, a judge chooses a song, and the producer chooses a song.

Tiff: David Archuleta was set to sing “And So It Goes” from judge Paula Abdul. The acapella beginning for the song was a very smart choice, because it really showed David’s voice, and of course, I loved the strings. It was a good song choice for him. I agree with Simon in that it was predictable, but he did well.
Kim: I wish she would’ve given him something more exciting, but boy did his voice sound FLAWLESS. The a capella in the beginning was really beautiful. Would’ve been nice if he had played piano on this one, but he always sounds better when he doesn’t. I don’t like what he’s wearing though.
