Last night, after a rumored suicide attempt, Britney Spears was put back on a 5150 an is in the psych ward at the UCLA Medical center. It looks like Britney went quietly to get help and her manager Sam Lufti has been blocked from seeing her, even though he had a hand in her getting treatment.  Britney also didn’t sleep for three days, and from what I’ve heard that pretty much means you’re mentally insane.  More details coming.

Tonight, American Idol took on Miami. Was muy caliente? Eh, more like lukewarm.

Shannon McCough who works at a meat market and belches really loud. I’m not so sure that’s a good combination. She sang “Cry Baby” by Janis Joplin and it was even louder and more abrasive than her burping. Apparently she won a bunch of singing competitions and was pretty surprised at the judges being offended by her voice. If her voice wasn’t so affected she probably would’ve sounded good.

Next up is the much talked about Robbie Carrico, the ex boybander who had a short fling with Britney. It doesn’t surprise me that this guy went from pop to rock because to me he seemed a lot less authentic than the other two rockers we’ve seen. I don’t like this guys voice. He’s annoying.  Eva Longoria made her mark on the red carpet last night for the premiere of her movie “Over Her Dead Body”.  Eh, that movie doesn’t look good at all, but then again most romantic comedies don’t (Fools Gold anyone? yikes…).  But Eva always works it in front of the camera; girl loves the spotlight and she’s good at it!

Well it IS for his legal fees. Kevin Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan has asked the court to require Britney to pay attorney’s fees. And if the motion is granted, it’s going to set Brit back half a million dollars! That’s $500,000 worth of fees that Kevin has racked up since last July. I can see why the attorney wants Britney to pay, because he probably won’t see a dime if it’s up to Kevin on his own! And at the same time Britney sort of is the one to blame for dragging things out in court.

Hayden Panatierre is still in Washington, trying to save the whales. Yesterday she attended a press conference trying to pass a bill to end commercial whaling. I really just love that first picture; Johnny Kerry looks like a giant standing next to her!
