First stills from Katharine’s new video for “Love Story”. I seriously hate that song (they should’ve released “Neglected” or even ” Open Toes”) but the whole showgirl vibe fits the song like a glove. And check out the red streaks in her hair….I’ve been saying this for a while, she needs an edgier look to fit in to the music scene (ex. Rihanna and her new ‘do) and they finally got that.

And what’s up with her getting a second vid when Taylor has sold twice as much as her and didn’t even get a video?? Heh, well at least her label didn’t give up on her. Anyways, I can’t wait to see this; looks cute.

Yesterday I posted about Britney Spears possibly handing a legal letter to her mom asking her to stay away from her kids. Well, that wasn’t exactly the case, and thankfully X17 has cleared up some of the details. Here’s a basic summary of what went down:

A lawyer didn’t write the letter; Britney wrote it herself. Figures; this reminds me of how she did her own “hair and makeup” for that one interview. But the letter did threaten her mom with the possibility of a restraining order.

Britney is apparently angry about the supposed tell all book her mom is shopping around and how she still has a business relationship with her ex manager Larry Rudolph. That sounds completely understandable; tell alls are a big no-no.

She shaved off her hair because Kevin threatened to drug test it. When she entered rehab the drug test came back negative but Britney was afraid that the pot that Kevin smoked around her would show up in her hair. Um, so why would Kevin turn her in if he was the one doing drugs? And why didnt she burn the hair instead of leaving it at the salon? These people don’t make sense.

Expect Britney to make a jump from the William Morris Agency to CAA, and perhaps resume her acting career. (NO!!)

Rumor: Britney may or may not be dating a very wealthy man who’s been a part of her recent business decisions.

Oh and I also heard that the album Britney is working on is actually really good, although its been pushed back to 2008. That’s probably for the best; she really needs to settle things in her personal life first. And it wouldn’t hurt if she got her old body back, or at least came close. I mean, Britney has ALWAYS been about image and selling sex.

You would think most celebs would realize walking around naked outside isn’t exactly the smartest idea, even on their own property, because there are almost ALWAYS camera’s on them. But then again “smart” is probably the last word that comes to mind when thinking of Nick Lachey and Vanessa Manillo. Some photogs caught the two of them naked in a hot tub. Yeah, the pictures are censored but it won’t be long before the uncensored ones are leaked.

Oh, and I think it’s funny that people are wondering if pictures like these and the ones of Vanessa playing with knives are going to hurt her “career” or “reputation”, like she had either to begin with.

These pictures of Katie Holmes going to  meeting with her agents at CAA were taken yesterday.  Is it just me or does she look a heck of a lot thinner  than she has before?  Seriously, her clothes are hanging off her.  Victoria Beckham is REALLY rubbing off on her!

The Olsens always have the most interesting shoes! For some reason I’m not surprised that when Mary Kate decides to ditch her usual 5 inch heels she picks those, of all, flats to wear.
