Victoria flew out to see her injured husband David, after his recent accident which resulted in him tearing his left Achilles’ tendon – putting him out of action for 6months. Victoria was actually quite dressed down, wearing a full black outfit and even flat shoes. This is not a look for everyone – it is very much her own style and she pulls it off well. Victoria channels classic glamour when dressing down – opting for simple black dresses which she teamed with plain, well cut cardigans or jackets. Here, Victoria has paired a short dress with a cropped cardigan to perfection.
To top off the look, Vicky adds some gold accents to the look, with a gold watch and a bag with gold hardware. She pulled the whole look together with her signature oversized sunnies and pulled back hair. This is a chic, classic outfit which is still very much a part of Victoria’s signature style. She looks great! Probably a good idea to wear flats too – looks like she’ll be helping David get around for the next few months!
Although I will always think of Victoria Beckham as the Gucci-obsessed “Posh Spice” in Spice World, she has now begun to branch out into the fashion world. I typically hate celebrity designers because they aren’t really designers, they just pay bundles of money to have their names sewn into the garments. Only when the celebrity has proven his/herself to live and breath fashion like true designers do, can I accept them to have their name mentioned on the runway.
If any celebrity has shown herself to love fashion, and not just clothing, it’s Victoria Beckham. Sure, she rarely smiles, hides behind giant black frames and doesn’t appear to have eaten anything more than splenda since the nineties, but she’s really onto something. Her Fall 2010 Ready-to-Wear was surprisingly cohesive and verstaile. It was composed of dresses, elegant and casual alike, and the materials ranged from cotton blends to silk. In true Posh Spice style, all the models wore black sunglasses.
While I may not agree with the idea of celebrities turned designers, I can think of worse than Victoria Beckham (cough, cough, Jessica Simpson).

Victoria Beckham attended a private party recently wearing this jaw-dropping blazer with nothing underneath. Inspired by Victoria’s outfit, I’ve put a similar one together (above right) which oozes the same sexy, tailored look.
My look uses a Chloé Wool-blend twill jacket which looks just about right to rock this look without showing off too much flesh. If your worried about wearing a blazer with nothing underneath and exposing too much, simply get your hands on a neutral coloured, low cut vest to wear underneath – this will cover up anything your in doubt about and won’t be too obvious.
I teamed the Chloé jacket with some amazingly sexy Leather stud-paneled pants by Preen. These have a little more going on then Victoria’s but you can afford to add some embellishment to this look, you could also easily add a long necklace with the blazer if you want to make it look dressier.
Victoria’s shoes stand out for miles – her shoes are by Christian Louboutin but I’ve chosen a pair by Giuseppe Zanotti which have an even bigger wow factor then Victoria’s – they are multicoloured, crystal embellished sandals and would really pop when teamed with this whole black look.
To finish I added a simple envelope style clutch by Yves Saint Laurent which has a patent finish to make it stand out against the blazer and leather trousers. The key to getting this look right is to balance the amount of flesh you have on show – by having your top half exposed and your legs covered, there’s a good balance. The heels are also important, without them the tailoring of the jacket would be far too masculine.
I sourced these from net-a-porter.com – I heard that British singer/ X factor judge Cheryl Cole does all her shopping there, and I can certainly see why!
For once I actually don’t like how Victoria put her outfit together. She looks old here – older then her actual age. I think it’s that awful jacket that normally only grandmas wear. I really don’t think this flatters her at all. I don’t like the white pants either – the way they flare out over her ankle makes them look short when they’re worn with her towering Christian Louboutin shoes.
I admit that the shoes are very nice – but I’m afraid that’s where my compliments run out. I don’t like the rest of Victoria’s outfit – I understand the look she was trying to go for – that kind of effortless, classic look that only someone french or quite old can actually pull off. She didn’t manage to make it work and instead ends up looking frumpy and unfashionable.
Victoria headed out with the kids in this cool, neutral outfit. She looks really great in this. It’s bang on trend with neutral shades being huge this season and she looks slim, relaxed and very iconic. I’m not sure if the hat is to keep her face out of photos or if it’s a fashion statement but it looks good with the outfit and she certainly managed to avoid getting her face in the picture too!Her outfit is really simple but looks stunning on her.
Her plain grey skinny jeans are teamed with the baggy, beige shade vest top and over-sized gold cardigan. It’s casual but very chic and elegant at the same time. Her bag is her usual signature Hermés Birkin bag, but this ones lined with fur which peeps over the top and adds some interest to the otherwise toned down look. Her heels are stunning – a bronze/brown peep toe shoe which suits the colours of the rest of the look perfectly. Victoria looks amazing in this outfit, it’s one of my favorite looks by her in quite sometime and I hope she keeps it up.
Victoria was snapped while leaving London’s Heathrow Airport wearing this cool trench coat. I really love this coat, it’s a really beautiful piece and an interesting take on the classic beige trench coat. The neon orange buttons inject a modern touch to it and make it much more interesting – the unmissable buttons are clearly the focal point of the outfit. The coat does suit her and flatters her shape well – it’s got a belted waist which helps create an hourglass silhouette and it’s not too long on her either.
Victoria always chooses great accessories – I adore her huge Hermés Birkin bag – she has several of these and they always look good with her outfits and match perfectly. I think it might have looked a little better if she’d worn skinny jeans or a pair of opaques instead of going bare leg but it still works quite well. Her ankle boots have a velvet look and a towering heel, which I really like too. Victoria did an excellent job on this one – it’s her usual, designer clad look but it’s undeniably covetable.
