People tends to be a pretty reliable source, and now they’re saying that Scarlett Johanssen and Ryan Reynolds are engaged. Hmm, this is coming out of nowhere! I always forget that they’re even together, since they’re not so much on the radar (which is probably a good thing). We’ll find out for sure tonight if Scarlett is rockin’ a big rock at the Costume Gala in New York. Any bets on whether these two will make it down the aisle? Something tells me it’s slim to none.

These girls have been making SO many fashioon faux pas recently. I kind of like these dresses and I kind of don’t, but I’ll give them the thumbs up; it’s an improvement at least.

Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman and Eric Bana hit the red carpet at the Berlindale Film Festivel for the premiere of The Other Boleyn Girl. I wonder if these two actually get along that well or if they’re just better actresses than we think? I’ll go with the former. Natalie’s dress is ……unique; they’re both worst dressed list worthy if you ask me.
Two of the hottest young actresses in Hollywood at the moment (and for whatever reason), Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman are this months W cover girls, promoting their new film The “Other Boleyn Girl”. Here are a few quotes from the interview:
Scarlett Says:
“I’ve been battered for saying that I don’t believe humans are monogamous by nature. The response was, like, ‘What a ho-bag!’ I didn’t mean that I don’t practice monogamy in my own life—of course I do! I’m not going to be in some tarty relationship. But I stick by what I said. I remember another time, I said I get tested for AIDS twice a year, and again that got spun as me being promiscuous. But I was single at the time, and I think it’s important to do that!”
On Gossip Magazines…“You’re never going to find me at the Ivy. I don’t care how good the Cobb salad is. These tabloid magazines—I think they’re hideous and the downfall of society.” That makes me proud to be typing this.
On Supporting Obama…“I will continue stumping for Obama until he’s elected. The past eight years have been painful for a lot of people. We’re in a state of emergency.”
Natalie Says:
On Monogamy…“I’m into monogamy. But I’m not really into marriage right now. I sort of hate the legal aspect of it. What does the state have to do with it? Why are they making rules that say my lover can stay in the United States if they’re foreign or share my health care benefits because I’m straight—but if you’re gay, you can’t have that?” What an original thought.
On Being Impressed by Hilary Clinton…“I met with about 10 representatives that day and Hillary was by far the sharpest. Did you read Gloria Steinem’s op-ed piece? Hillary’s just so experienced.”
On Being Branded A Good Girl…. “I get branded a lot as a good girl. I’m, like, the prude, and you’re more sexy…”
On Her Public Profile…“The only thing that’s a little bit annoying, is I feel that I come off kind of boring sometimes.”
Scarlett managed to come off even more pretentious than Natalie Portman. Hmm, didn’t think that was possible.
Thanks Emily!

The new issue of US Weekly claims that Scarlett Johansson had a nose job, which unsurprisingly isn’t making her too happy. Here’s statement she recently released about the cover story:
“I have always been straightforward with the press regarding my body image and I am very concerned that my fans (and perhaps even my employers) will feel mislead. Thus, I feel compelled to take immediate legal action against US Weekly.”
I’m not sure what to believe here, in the two before photos her nose looks slimmer and more defined at the bridge and the tip looks smaller overall. It’s a very, very slight change but there are a LOT of Hollywood stars that have had that done and it makes a big difference (Britney Spears and Beyonce are two others who I think have had the precedure). But then again the before photos are from when she was a teenager, so it’s not impossible that her face shape just changed a bit (not to mention lighting and make up).
I’m on the fence here, what do you guys think??

The women of Hollywood stepped out last night for Elle’s Women of Hollywood event. What a coincidence. Is it just me or does Jessica Alba look like she’s aged about 10 years in the last two or three? Maybe she just needs more makeup.

Scarlett doesn’t look too bad but her dress and her shoes are a bad match.
Kate Bosworth, Kristen Bell, and Ali Larter were there too. Check out the pics below:
