Daughtry covering “Poker Face”.  Random, right? I still maintain that he’s the worst thing in music right now, but this cover is actually….good. And that scares me.   (click if it doesn’t embed).

And no less random, is Michael Johns’ version of “Single Ladies”.  Yup, you read that right.  Not as great quality, but once again, in a weird, way it kinda works!

Michael Johns’ first single “Heart On My Sleeve” is now available on itunes and amazon.  And yeah,  I totally downloaded it right at midnight last night!  Suuuch a pretty song, check it out below:

You don’t even know how much I’m absolutely LOVIN’ this news!  Entertainment Weekly is saying that Michael Johns and Carly Smithson will be performing during tomorrow nights result show.  I love these two, separately and together, and they were my choice for top 2 last year so I couldn’t be any more excited.   EW also says that they only got the call last night and still aren’t sure what song they’ll sing.

Honestly though I almost don’t even want to post this because of what happened the LAST time.  In case you remember, I posted that Michael was going to be a mentor during Hollywood week, which he and Carly did together, and it wasn’t aired (see the above pic).  The two of them were even told that their clips were pushed back to week 2 of Hollywood and still….nothing.  So let’s hope it sticks this time!

Coincidentally we just got snippets from MJ’s new single and one of  Carly’s demo.  Seriously, they both sound fantastic.  Check em out here.

Michael Johns was on The Today Show this festivus morning singing his Christmas tune,”Another Christmas”. I haven’t gotten a chance to check it out yet but I’ve got it on my tifaux and I’m sure he did a great job! Watch it below:

I so cant wait to see this movie! Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman hit the red carpet last night for the New York premiere of their movie, “Australia”.
