What is the real connection between Mary Kate and Heath Ledger? Is Mary Kate hiding something about Heath Ledger’s death? It sounds like it as ever since the death of Heath Ledger, Mary Kate has been linked to the death, or to Heath, in a hush hush kind of way, and now some information is coming out that is strengthening that link.

Mary Kate has definitely been questioned on her relationship with Heath, and particularly about his death. The bulk of her questioning has been surrounding the issue of how Heath got the drugs that killed him, and it sounds like Mary Kate knows a little something about that. Her lawyer says that she has already provided investigators with ‘relevant information’ but it doesn’t seem to stop there.

It sounds like Mary Kate could have some information that will incriminate her, as she is now seeking immunity before she will cooperate further with the investigators looking into Heath’s accidental overdose.

Heath was found in his apartment on January 22nd by his housekeeper, and before she called 911, Mary Kate was the first phone call. Autopsy reports showed he had pain killers, anxiety meds, and sleep meds in his system. With the exception of Oxycodone and Vicodin, investigators have found prescriptions for everything in Heath’s system.

But those two powerful pain killers were not prescribed to Heath, and this may be where the Mary Kate link comes in. At first she said she didn’t know where he got them, but now is seeking immunity so… Her lawyer’s statement is as such:

“Regarding the government’s investigation, at Ms. Olsen’s request, we have provided the government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger’s death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed,”

My only question is the obvious one, and I can’t be the only one seeing the elephant in the room. If Mary Kate is innocent and doesn’t know anything, what on earth would she need immunity for?? Hmm…

Yeah, that’s Ashley Olsen. She was out at a cocktail party for Harpers Bazaar last night, and there’s just something about her face that looks totally different, but I can’t put my finger on what it is exactly. Maybe it’s just her eyebrows and makeup. But she looks a little bit more normal than usual.

Mary Kate Olsen showed up in this dazzling ensemble at a New Yorkers for Children event last night. It’s great to see that even celebs are shopping off of QVC:

 Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen sat in the front row, of course, for the Chanel and Giambattista Valli shows at Paris Fashion Week.  I can honestly say that I HATE MK’s sunglasses.  But just look at all that Chanel swag the two of them are taking home.  Not fair!

 Mary Kate Olsen & Colin Ferrel posed for a picture yesterday at the start of the Sundance  Film Festival. His new (Sweeney Todd inspired?) hairstyle is pretty interesting, and I’m guessing it’s for a role.  More pics below…

Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen are the latest targets of eco terrorist group PETA.  The group is calling them Hairy Kate & Trashley Trollson (I think this shows what  lack of meat can do to your creativity) in a new campaign that goes up today on the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd.  It’s mainly PETA’s way of whining about the twins wearing fur and using it in their fashion line, despite the fact that their current poster girl Dita Von Teese knowingly admits to having a closet full of furs.  Maybe lack of meat effects memory as well?

Anyways, the twins get the gold star of the week from me.  Keep on being rebels, girls!  Now where’s my drumstick?
