iPod Nano, iPod Touch, iPod Classic

Yes, those are all iPods and the one on the left isn’t an iPhone.

Apple introduced the new range of iPods today, and unsurprisingly they’ve gotten smaller and, erm, touchier. There will be a new iPod where it’s all controlled by touch, just like the iPhone. Do not want; must have buttons. And that short squaty one is the new iPod Nano video. I think its cute! But it’s WAY too small! I saw Steve Jobs holding it on TV and it seriously looked like a credit card, that’s how tiny it.

I think they’re getting carried away with how tiny and thin these things are. I still have the old school mini, and I probably won’t upgrade any time soon because I lose things REALLY easily. And I feel bad for people with big fingers with all this touch screen nonsense.

One new cool feature though is that you will now be able to buy music ON the iPod instead of having to go online. It sure took them long enough to figure that one out! They’re also cutting $200 off the iPhones…a big HA-HA to everyone who paid full price.

I’ve gotta snag one of these for eBay when they come out.

Apple officially released their “revolutionary” iPhone at the end of last week.  Some crazy people here in my town actually lined up the night before to get one (but people here also waited in line for the opening of a Krispy Kreme…not even joking).  Actually I would’ve loved to get my hands on one of these suckers and put it on eBay.

So, did any of you guys get one? And if so, how do you like it?  I’ll probably get one for my dad around his birthday, he loves gadgets, but personally I have NO desire to own one of these.  I like buttons….seriously what does Apple have against buttons?  I can barely even deal with iPods not having any buttons and at least that has something tangible.
