Photos of Christina Aguilera with her newborn son Max Liron in People magazine didn’t exactly cause  that she and the magazine had hoped for.  People reportedly spent over $1m for first dibs on the pics and the issue sold about 1.3m copies, which is lower than average.  And we hear she isn’t happy about this.  A source says “She went crazy and had a massive tantrum. It was astonishing. She was absolutely furious and blamed her staff for the way everything had been handled. She decided BWR had to go, then gave her day-to-day manager and one of her assistants their marching orders too.”

All I can say is… HA. HA.  The magazine apparently received comments from readers saying they didn’t care because she lied about the pregnancy so much early on.  I say, that’s what she gets for whining about privacy one minute but then uses her kid to make a buck the first minute she can.  I hear part of the reason she’s mad is because Jennifer Lopez is getting about 5 times as much for her baby pictures.  Heck, I think more people are interested in Nicole Richie’s spawn than hers (I know I am!).

Since we had to take down the People pictures, enjoy even better photos of Christina Aguilera and her new baby Max Liron. And a better picture of that creepy moon man (below).

I’m not surprised at all that she was so quick to pimp out her kid. It doesn’t look like either one of them. And won’t the kid be freaked out by a GIANT MOON MAN staring back at him at night??

 Christina Aguilera makes one of her first post pregnancy appearances to hawk her new live DVD at a Best Buy in LA. I wonder, when her make up artist asks her how she wants to look, doe she just hold up a picture of bozo the clown?

Alright so we had a couple of false facts on our initial post about Christina Aguilera giving birth!  It seems that she wasn’t a part of the baby brigade on Friday, and her son was actually born on Saturday.  She also posted the photo above on her official website which cites his name as Max Liron Bratman….I like that a lot better than Kevin Jon for sure!  Apparently Liron is  a jewish name that means “my song” or “my joy” in Hebrew.

Here’s the message christina left to her fans on her website:

Today is a very joyful and special day for Jordan and I as we welcome our first son into this world.

Despite reports to the contrary, Life & Style and MSNBC online are reporting Christina Aguliera and her husband, Jordan Bratman have welcomed a baby boy. There is not yet word on the details, but it sounds like the two are parents.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are reportedly welcoming their little one today, any minute now. Comedian David Allen Grier and his wife also welcomed a baby at the same hospital today, and 90’s actress Courtney Thorne-Smith and her husband welcomed a baby boy this morning. Babies, everywhere.
