Man, this guy just can’t keep himself out of trouble these days. Once again he’s been thrown in the slammer for getting into it with a photographer. He was outside a night club in Newcastle this morning, and photog Terry Blackburn claims that he’s suffering from cuts and bruises after Kanye verbally assaulted him and pushed a camera into his face. He was arrested but released without charge. Paparazzi of the world, watch out, Kanye is out for the kill!

Here’s someone I didn’t expect to get arrested. Heather Locklear was locked up over the weekend after being pulled over for a DUI, but was released Sunday. She apparently was driving under the influence of prescription medication, something that she’s been in rehab for recently. She has a young daughter so I hope she can get things together.

Nick Bollea (aka Nick Hogan) has been granted an early release from his 8 month prison sentence and will be a ‘free man’ come October 21. He was sentenced for 8 months for drinking and driving and nearly killing one of his best friends. Two hours after the crash, Nick was found to have an extraordinary amount of alcohol STILL in his blood and thus down came the charges. He didn’t actually kill his passenger John Graziano, but the extent of John’s injuries are so severe that he will likely spend the rest of his life in a nursing home. Soooo….John gets a life sentence and Nick is out in five months. Nice.
Nick is currently serving the fourth month of his eight month sentence at Tampa’s Pinellas County Jail, and it sounds like when it came to choosing prison accommodations, he lucked out. The particular prison where he is serving offers a credit system for good behaviour. If you behave, you get credits, and if you want, you use your credits for early release. And it sounds like that is what has happened, Nicky was a good boy and they are rewarding him for it. Mind you, his life is not going to be all that peachy keen when he gets out. He still has five years of probation to work through, and three of those years he won’t be able to drive. He will have to work 500 hours of community service, which if you count 40 hr work weeks, it’s approximately six months free labor for the county. He will not be able to drink for the duration of his probation, five years, and within one year he will have to attend DUI classes.
Sooo….all we can hope for is that he will screw up his probation and end up back in the clink. And given that alcohol will be a no-no, there may be a good shot at that. We’ll see.

Well, we can only hope that this is the end of the insanity that Anne Hathaway has been experiencing since news of her con fiancé came to light. Raffaello Follieri was arrested and charged earlier this year on charges of conspiracy, money laundering, and fraud. Anne was right in the thick of it all, and was a victim of his nasty ways and it is said that she had something to do with getting him arrested, as their split came only two weeks before an arrest by the FBI was made early in the summer.
As it stands now. Raffaello has developed a plea agreement to serve prison time, and he will be sentenced October 3rd. He has admitted in the plea that he tricked investors to purchase Catholic properties, and has also admitted to wire fraud, money laundering, conspiracy to launder funds, and an overall ‘misappropriation’ of funds to the tune of $2.4 million dollars. He has been in jail since his arrest in June, since, well, he couldn’t get his hands on his $21 million dollar bail bond, and thus won’t even have a few extra weeks of freedom before he is taken off for his sentence. His sentence will involve at least five years in prison, and his current time served will more than likely be included in that.
As far as misappropriation of funds, I doubt that many will have a difficult time wondering where it went, since his lifestyle matches the dollar signs accordingly. He held a $37 thousand dollar a month penthouse at Trump Tower, and well over $2 million dollars in jewelry assets. Part of his agreement will force him to hand over his assets and jewelry, and he will also be ordered additional financial restitution. It looks like Raffiello is not going to be a happy camper for a very long time, in fact, jail time will probably be the BEST of his days to come. And, by the sounds of it, Anne’s revenge has been exacted and hopefully she can now breathe a final sigh of relief and get on with her life.

Well well well, how many had bets that it would be this little amount of time before we heard about Shia LaBeouf considering rehab? It’s been less than a couple of weeks since his DUI arrest, and word is out now that Shia LaBeouf, a self-proclaimed alcoholic, is considering rehab.
Shia was involved in a car accident late last month and was charged at the scene for DUI. As it turns out, he was not the cause of the accident, but rather, fault at the accident was given to the driver of the other vehicle who ran a red light. So it was just Shia’s bad luck that he had been drinking and driving when someone made that poor choice….
Although Shia will not be charged for causing the accident, he still has to deal with this DUI snaffoo that came up as a result, and well you know, celebrities and alcoholism while creating ‘no such thing as bad’ publicity are still tainting his crispy reputation.
But he hasn’t done himself any favors. In efforts to look ‘honest’ and ‘normal’ to his fans, Shia recently made a public announcement in an interview with Details magazine that he may have a problem with alcohol. He said that he was not able to be a gentleman about drinking, that he could never just ‘stop at one’.
This interview was given before the accident, and I am very sure that Shia is biting those words, because now that he has a drinking and driving charge, that statement will NOT bode well for him with the legal system.
So now, in true backpedaling Hollywood form, entertainment news show ‘Extra’ is reporting that Shia is considering rehab. But NOT because he wants to clean up his act and get his life on track, but because ‘judges like to see it’.
Yeah. Big shocker there. He’s currently recovering from surgery he underwent as a result of the surgery, but is expected to be back on the set of Transformers 2 soon. And I am sure in the meantime, the good folks at the Cirque Lodge will be warming up a room for him…just in case.

This sounds like it is going to be one of those stories where a lot of information is being kept under the rug but more and more will leak out as time goes on. Shia LeBeouf was involved in a DUI in the wee hours of Sunday morning in Los Angeles, after bending the arm a little too much in some Saturday night partying. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries, as did Shia’s passenger.
Until now, the identity of Shia’s passenger had been kept under wraps, but it sounds like his Transformer’s co-star Isabel Lucas was the unidentified passenger that sustained minor injuries in the Sunday crash.
Shia himself sustained injuries that required immediate surgery, but Isabel’s injuries are as yet unknown. Isabel’s people of course are not confirming her attendance at the accident, and are simply saying ‘everything out there is speculation….she’s at work today on the set of Transformers 2’. Ok. That’s an interesting way to not deny something.
However, witnesses are now coming forth saying that Shia was seen downing a bevy of shots in an L.A. nightclub just hours before the accident and was said to be ‘acting crazy’.
Mind you, more news is coming out that is relinquishing Shia from being the cause of the accident. As it sounds, the driver of the other vehicle ran a red light and has been charged with as much as a result. So, Shia would have been in the accident whether he had been drinking or no.
But perhaps his reflexes may have been a little stronger if he HADN’T been drinking. And mind you, he is STILL being charged with a DUI so, he would have gotten off scot free if he had simply been in a different place (i.e. not behind a wheel) at a different time.
And oddly enough, he knows he has a problem. Quite the newsflash, no? In an interview before the accident, Shia spoke candidly with the folks at Details magazine and acknowledged that he has a problem with drinking. He says he doesn’t know how to be a gentleman about it, that he can never just ‘stop at 1’.
Isn’t it ironic that he would self-admit this shortly before being charged with a DUI. But hey Shia. Here’s a thought. Nobody cares that you drink too much. Drinking too much and then getting behind a wheel and endangering lives is what makes you look a little skanky.
I guess the only good thing about this whole situation is that it didn’t end up being much worse than it obviously could have.
