Britney and Madonna Reunited!

Can you believe that it’s been five years since Britney Spears and Madonna made headlines with their torrid on stage kiss? Yes, it was back in 2003 at the MTV Video Music Awards where the two shared the stage, and a hot kiss, during live broadcast.

Well, it seems they may be making headlines together again, though on a much tamer note. It sounds like Britney has been asked to film a video for Madonna for her upcoming Sweet and Sticky tour. Britney has been asked to team up with Madonna and film a video that will be played during Madonna’s performances on stage.

Details such as what they will be doing and where it will be filmed are being kept mum, Madonna style, but reports are that filming will begin within the next week. Initial rumors were that Britney would perform with Madonna, though that does not appear to be the case.

Why Madonna’s reincarnated fixation with the pop fix?

Is Madonna’s career that lackluster that she needs a big PR name like Britney to give it a boost? Not sure, but the word from the Madonna camp is simply that Madonna is trying to do the opposite, and help out in an effort to boost Britney’s career back to its shining stardom.

Could be anything at this point, but interesting that this big name boost is happening right around the time that Madonna’s marriage is ravaging the headlines as well.

Madonna says she’s learned not to take press and false rumors seriously, but honestly, people don’t just ‘make up’ news about lawyers of Paul McCartney’s caliber. Or maybe they do. Who knows, time will tell.
