Britney’s First Overnight Visit

As expected, Britney was granted the return of overnight visits with her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston at a recent hearing last week, and this past weekend saw the initiation of those rights. Britney had her overnight this weekend from Saturday to Sunday and by all reports it was a beautiful reunion.

This is the first time Britney has had extended time with her children since her hospitalization in January, and she was overjoyed. The boys were dropped off on Saturday morning and returned on Sunday morning around 10:00 A.M.

She was so excited to have her boys around, that when it came time to leave on Sunday she was very emotional, and very disturbed at having to say good bye again. This is particularly difficult given that it may be weeks or even months before she gets another overnight.

Britney’s next custody hearing is scheduled for August 25th, and it sounds like it is going to be ugly. Ex husband Kevin Federline has been reported as saying he is going for sole physical custody of his boys, and he wants Britney to stay on her current terms of visitation. It had been hoped that the two would come to an amicable agreement, in other words, that Britney do whatever K-Fed says, but she is not backing down that easily. K-Fed’s attorney was reported as saying:
If the existing arrangement was acceptable to both parties… we wouldn’t have to go to trial. But that didn’t happen.
So, Britney is going to be the mama bear fighting for her cubs, and she is hoping to get at least 50/50 custody arrangement. And though she is known to have a heap of baggage and issues, this is actually one thing I am gunning for for this girl. I think thus far, she’s proven that she can handle it. Let’s cross our fingers until August for Britney.
