This is what I love about SYTYCD?; they don’t make you wait almost a month and a half just to get into the competition! That other show could learn a thing or two from their format (you hear that, Nigel?).

Gev, 21 - BBoy/Hip Hop
So this is the guy who got picked last, in the possibly controversial moment where they chose a mediocre b-boy (in my opinion) over a pretty impressive contemporary dancer. The other guy had a great audition, but I knew he wouldn’t make it. Why? Uh, let’s just say demographics to keep it PC.

Chris, 21 - Lyrical/Contemporary

Jamie, 22 - WCS
I’m hearing he was once partners with Lacey. The Dynasty continues! Now where are this years Walls?

Joshua, 19 - Hip Hop/Popping
This guy seems to be extremely versatile. Even in his audition, it seemed pretty obvious that he’s had training, which isn’t a bad thing of course.

Mark, 24 - Contemporary
This is the guy who did that really creepy solo to Bohemian Rhapsody. That was awesome! It’s col to see someone different and kind of quirky.

William, 21 - Contemporary

Okay, I’m hoping this is the year hip hop makes a big comeback (the absense of Shane, and hopefully Dan, should help); it just hasn’t been the same since S1! But finally we’ve got a really good female hip hopper, nice.

Courtney, 19 - Contemporary
This girl is really good, and she’s cute, so she should be around for a while.

Jessica, 23 - Contemporary

Kherington, 18 - Contemporary/Jazz
Oh boy. This girl already has a big teenybopper fanbase and I have no idea why.

Kourtni, 18 - Jazz/Contemporary
I’m pretty sure this is the girl who was featured in the beginning of Wednesdays episode (right?). Good audition, and she’s not one of those pageant dancers, thankfully!

Rhayven, 28 - Contemporary/Ballet
Finally a ballerina! Although I do remember Jessica from S2 doing some point work, and hopefully we’ll see more this year.

Katee, 20 - Contemporary
Yeah, well, I liked the other roommate better even during the audition rounds. This girl just screams snore to me, I think the other girl had more personality. And always, always, always tell people what they want to hear when you’re in a situation like that!

Susie, 25 - Latin/Salsa
Not even sure how she made it through the auditions. The fact that the judges, and not the viewers, have the final say fo the first couple of weeks will probably work in her favor.

There are a couple of people missing, like the slutty teacher from Miami; don’t ask me how she got through. And it looks like this year will be contemporary vs. hip hop; sucks for me because I always prefer the ballroom dancers and there are only one or two this year.
