Another One Bites The Dust for George Clooney!

Ah yes, it’s true folks. The moment that some of us have all been waiting for. George Clooney and his girlfriend of one year, Sarah Larson, have finally called it quits. George’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, has nothing to say other than no comments on his personal life.

So though we don’t know the why’s, does it really matter? Georgie is single again!

And we do believe that this was not long coming, considering he has often prided himself with being the most single man in Hollywood. Just this last year Sarah attended the Academy Awards with George which had many tongues wagging simply because this was the first year he had EVER brought a date to the event.

But given that, by Tinseltown standards, she sort of came from the wrong side of the track, this was not unexpected. The pair met four years back in Las Vegas when Sarah was working as a waitress at The Whiskey Bar, however nothing real came of it until 2007 when they met for a second time in Vegas.

Since then they have virtually been inseparable but now well, you know how it goes. Possible she was just using an A-lister to climb her way to fame? Could be, if that’s all she wanted it will certainly work. Doubt it though, how many rocks does one need in her head to let go of a man like George Clooney?

Hush now, I’m waiting for my phone to ring….

    Is it clear who dumped who? I know I automatically assumed he kicked her to the curb because of the “who in their right mind would let go of Clooney?” mindset, but at the same time, if he’s really that much of a notorious bachelor, maybe she just got sick of him not wanting to commit. Oh well. Sweet girl or gold-digger, at least she got to go to the Oscars out of it :)

    I dont get what it is about george clooney that get women so tingly inside. i love the guy, great actor and has charm even a man like me can see. but still. i dont get it.

    and on a second note, what kat says about who dumped who stands good. its not cuz its ohmygodgeorgeclooney that the girl doesnt have brain to think with and personal integrity to abide by. but i do think george is just the kind of person who can always have a “different type of meat” …so he’z simply going for it. i cant blame him i would probably do the same. yup, sad but true.
