Britney Spears Shows Up in Court

Sad that this is a big headline for Britney, but it shows she’s on the road to recovery. Britney was expected, and arrived to court today for a custody hearing for Sean Preston and Jayden James. Court was scheduled for 8 AM Pacific Time and Britney arrived, on time, with her mom, her conservator (I mean, her dad), and her lawyer Blair Berk in tow.

And naturally, Kevin Federline made his parental appearance as well with his entourage and team. Let’s hope that the judges offer a little sympathy though for our formerly trainwrecked pop star and see this attendance as one of many steps on the road to recovery.

And, this may just be the case for those judges. According to TMZ, as of 10:38 Pacific Time, Britney was seen leaving the courthouse smiling, and holding hands with lawyer Blair Berk. At the very least, she should have more visitation rights, and hopefully, at some point, shared custody.
