American Idol Top 5 Cuts!

Wow, did they get to practice that opening number at all? It was especially rough this week.

“Bottom 2″: Brooke & Syesha. So we all agree that Syesha wasn’t actually in the bottom 2, right? And that they didn’t want us to think it was scripted to manipulate the voters to put Jason in the B3, right? Right.

ELIMINATED….

Today is a day to celebrate! My faith in humanity is restored! Rejoice! Rejoice! The first correct elimination in four weeks. Was Cook trying to push her off the stage?? And who would’ve thought that Syesha would be the last girl standing?

Next Week’s Theme: Songs that helped shape rock & roll. It’s basically songs from the rock & roll hall of fame, with 500 songs to choose from. And they’re not JUST rock songs, it should actually be a pretty good show (let’s hope). I might actually do some song suggestions for this one, so check back this weekend.  And Bo Bice & Maroon 5 are scheduled to perform on the results show.

Top 4 week should be interesting. We’re left with the “polarizing” one, the female pop diva, a balladeer with soul and a bald(ing) pissed off rocker. Doesn’t sound familiar at all. Every odd numbered season a front runner goes home on the top 4 show; the first two times it was a female R&B diva and the last time it was the resident rocker. Will the curse claim yet another victim? Find out next time….on….American Idol.
