The Speidi’s Turn Down the Prez!

Well you know how it is when D-Listers are trying to climb the ladder. It can get a little embarrassing. But it’s even more embarrassing when you’re a D-lister that thinks you’re an A-lister. And such is the case with the couple everyone loves to hate, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

There was an invitation extended, to Heidi only, by MSNBC to attend the White House Correspondents Gala at the Washington Hilton. And If President Bush was hoping to meet this reality pair, he is in for disappointment. The Speidi’s have pulled some diva behavior and made some first-class demands and then criticized the event.

Heidi was the official invitee, with MSNBC asking her to join them at their table. But then Mr. Control Freak, I mean her *cough, term used loosely* manager and boyfriend Spencer Pratt stepped in to request an all-expenses paid trip to the Washington gala. On his list of demands were first-class airline tickets for both he and Heidi, which is odd considering he wasn’t even invited to the event.

MSNBC said uh, no, but thanks. This got Spencer a little irked I guess because he canceled Heidi’s appearance and criticized the event saying it wasn’t, and I quote, ‘A-listy’ enough. Huh. Maybe someone should tell Spencer that a.) A-listers don’t actually use the word ‘A-listy’, and that b.) you don’t really get much bigger than the President of the United States.
