Fans of Carrie Underwood will be thrilled to see her on the cover of May’s InStyle magazine, where she offers a lovely photo spread and a birds-eye look at what life is like for Carrie Underwood these days. I love reading and watching Carrie interviews because she’s just really so down-to-earth, honest, and yes, a sensitive soul to boot.

Carrie, who has been linked to Tony Romo and Chace Crawford from Gossip Girl, dishes to InStyle about how difficult the romance scene has been for her. Gotta say, if Carrie Underwood is having problems in her love life that is REALLY depressing for the rest of us. But just like any other girl, Carrie’s heartbreak is at the hands of an unfaithful boyfriend.

A cheater?!? How many rocks do you have to have in your head to cheat on Carrie Underwood? She’s still a little sore about it, but not enough to spread dirt on him as she’s just that kind of girl, so if you are wondering who the rat is, you will just have to keep on guessing. And while she still harbors some bad feelings, she won’t be pulling out her Louisville Slugger anytime soon.

And while she is one of the prettiest singers out there, she still struggles with some body image issues. She’s says some days she’s totally grossed out by herself as she steps out of the shower and puts her lotion on. You’ll never see this girl without makeup, but you will see her with a food diary counting calories, fat, and fiber intake. She thinks if she adds 5 pounds, the world will notice.
