Double Elimination This Week On American Idol

Every year on American Idol they throw us a twist about half way through the show. After rumors this weekend that Ryan would reveal the twist on his radio show, he announced it this morning……there will be a double elimination on American Idol this week! So, this is kind of like the opposite of Idol Gives Back week; just like last year, they won’t actually eliminate anyone during IGB but someone will get gypped out of staying an extra week. Hmm, I’m not sure I like this idea. But all I know is all the contestants better be on their BEST tonight with the Dolly Parton songs!
Do you guys know what day it is?

thats interesting news! I’m kind of surprised that they are doing that actually. But maybe it finally means the end of KLC!!!! (yyyaayyy)
Just a thought - maybe they knew a double elimination would have to happen at some point & this is a way to stop people from discussing the non-existent controversy over David Cook. (seriously, I think just think this band is over-hyping for exposure!)
Off Topic - I’m not sure if you saw/mentioned this but according to perez our boy Blake was bad mouthing Sanjaya during a radio interview! While I **love** Blake, it kind of turned me off - I mean he got a record contract while Sanjaya was pretty much the laughing stock of the country. Oh well… I guess our AI boys can’t be Perfect!

This has to be an April Fool’s joke, no? There was a huge elaborate April Fool’s prank with KTLA this morning on Seacrest’s radio show, so I’m having trouble believing this is real. Plus, they’re doing a Thur. elimination show next week.
