George Clooney’s Oscar Picks!

It seems that one of Time Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive is not just known for being hotter than hot and a talented actor/producer/director, but he’s also pretty famous for his Oscar picks. He’s never lost an Oscar pool yet. Does he think he’s going to snag Best Actor for ‘Michael Clayton’? Uh, no.He’s already practically throwing it to Daniel Day-Lewis, and it’s not just because of the humble pie he’s eaten. He honestly thinks Day-Lewis did a better job. What?!? (That’s the sound of my head spinning.) Michael Clayton is also up for Best Picture, and George says, thumbs down. His pick? No Country for Old Men.
He thinks ‘Clayton’s’ best shot at the golden statue is Tilda Swinton for Best Supporting Actress, though in his pool, his pick is Amy Ryan from Gone Baby Gone. His money is also in for Joel and Ethan Coen for Best Director in No Country for Old Men, and thumbs up to Javier Bardem for Best Supporting Actor in the same movie.
But no hard feelings for this hottie. In fact, he’s already teamed up with the Coen brothers for his next project ‘Burn After Reading’ where he works with is Ocean’s mate, Brad Pitt.
I’m generally wrong with my Oscar picks, which has in the past been used as a good ruler for others to place their bets. This year, I hope George sees a first – losing the Oscar pool. Cuz that’s where my money is.
