‘Gimme More’ Coverage On Youtube

Whenever I get bored I go searching for covers of popular songs on youtube.  Can’t tell you why, but I love seeing how people take these songs and chop them up and “remix” them.  For some reason the song “Gimme More” (by Britney, of course) brings out a lot of creativity….and some major weirdness.

Pop Rock Acoustic
There are several  acoustic versions and I think the song sounds good this way! This one has the most hit potential:

Of course there has to be a dark, depressing, paino driven Tori Amos’ed version.  I love this version just for the *drama*:

How Do I Even Classify This??
Here’s where things take a turn for the ….weird.  It’s a piano ballad version and I have no idea how to explain the video that goes along with it:

Music Video
Not exactly a remix, but this is just classic.  This guy made his own full fledged music video to the song, complete with Sim dancers and everything, and did it all himself (tthe video is actually really well edited).  His version of Piece of Me complete with new lyrics is even better.  And kudos for 1:28 (if you have a good memory you’ll lol).
