Johnny Depp & Keith Richards on Rolling Stone

In preparation for the release of Pirates of the Carribean 3, Johnny Depp and musician Keith Richards are on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Keith Richards actually plays Jack Sparrow’s dad in the movie, and as most of us know, Johnny based the character on him.  Here’s what he says about Johnny’ “impersonation” of him in the film:

Richards said Depp and Mick Jagger have been the best at impersonating him.

“There’s been loads of wannabes,” he said. “But it’s all posing with a guitar. And not playing right, not looking right, so not being me. … Really, it’s just in the bones and in the moves. You don’t know what attracts people to what you do.”
