Dancing With The Stars, Week 5

 Yeah, Marie Osmond fainted.  Not that it was the highlight of the show but that’s what everyone was talking about.  I thought she tripped at first because she was FINE…just standing there smiling and laughing and then BOOM. She said it was something that happened to her often if she gets winded.  That’s gotta be embarrassing.

I missed the last two couples because Heroes came on, so I really shouldn’t say who was the best last night.  I did like these two performances though….

Jennie & Derek  - Samba

 I surprised myself here because I usually NEVER like Jennie Garth’s performances.  She’s just so….bland.  And the fact that her partner looks like he’s 15 throws me off too.  But she did a good job at trying to spice it up a little bit last night and their performance was entertaining.

Helio & Juliane - Rumba

WHY must they always show Helio during the last half hour??  I’ve missed his performances for the past two weeks and I barely got by on this one!  Anyways, he’s one of my faves, and I thought the choreography here was great.  The judges were HARSH!  I agree that their chemistry could’ve been better, but they made a boring dance (well, to me Rumba’s are boring) really creative.   Juliane really is one of the best choreographers on the show.

They ended up with a 23 out of 30 which probably put them last on the leader board.  They won’t get voted out though.

Sabrina & Mark - Rumba

Of course Sabrina and her partner did a good job.  The preperformance video was pretty funny.  Sabrina was a bit nervous about doing such a slow and sexy routine, but she ended up doing well with the whole acting aspect of it.  Their connection was great, although I thought some of her moves could’ve been better.
