Shop Lauren Conrad

When I saw Lauren Conrad wear this dress to the Teen Choice awards I had high hopes for her collection at ShopLaurenConrad.com. Well, the line is available, and this super cute dress is no where in sight. But here’s what they do have:

Cute, I suppose, but there’s not much originality or detail in this collection at all. And most of the pieces look like they belong in a Spring collection.
But it’s a lot better than Paris Hilton’s line or that crap Mary Kate & Ashley are putting out.
The dresses range between $130 and $150 and the tops $85 to $100. Check ‘em out here!

she said that her red carpet looks are just one of a kind pieces that she designed strictly for red carpet events. i.e. teen choice awards and vma’s

^I don’t think so because I’ve talked to people who saw the line sheets and they said that some of the red carpet dresses will definitely be available.

I hope you are right Kim because I really like the dress she wore to the VMA. Cute club dress. The collection is super cute but the pricing is kinda off. She probably had nothing to do with the prices just MTV.

I like her line but most likely will not buy anything unless it goes on sale. I think it is way over priced for such simple peices. The material is just jersey cotton, nothing fancy. I don’t think they were very realistic when they determined the price range for her collection. It’s unfortunate because if it was priced better it would probably become more popular.

Hey Camina, I’ve seen the line sheet and the blue MTV dress is NOT in the collection
Ugh. That would’ve been a hot seller. Everything else she wore is a part of the collection though.
Tina, I think the prices are fine the problem is the detail. But her collection is actually cheaper than the other lines it’s going to hang with, like Tart for example (the designer for Tart is the creative director for her line). I’m planning to buy a few pieces for my boutique but Im being very careful about what I chose, lol.

I am disappointed because I love her taste in clothes so I assumed that same style would translate to her line. The preview line is unoriginal and a variation of jersey knits.
