New Britney Track & VMA Info

Listen to Britney Spears’ new song, “Gimmie More”:

Okay, I’m not going to say this will burn up the charts (or even my iPod charts), but this single is MILES better than any of her other songs that leaked recently! Finally, she does something right. When she loses those boots all will be right with the world.

Will this be the song she plans to sing at the VMA’s? Most likely, and US Weekly says she wants to make the performance “shocking”…which probably means we’re in for some silly gimmick like the whole Madonna controversy a couple years ago. She and Criss Angel have been putting their heads and probably other things together to come up with something but apparently the only idea they’ve had so far was her singing “My Prerogative” with pictures of her exes as well as her other tabloid stories in the background. Yeah, I’m sure once Britney realized how she really looked in those pictures the idea was scrapped fast.
