Saw IV Preview Clip

The Saw movies are a guilty pleasure of mine, and here we have the first poster for the fourth movie, which is due this Halloween (as usual). This is a very tame poster for the series; I’m sure they would’ve preferred to actually have shown his whole decapitated head, but considering their posters with severed limbs were banned from theaters I can see why they didn’t!

But even more importantly, a four minute clip of the movie from Comic Con. Mind you, this movie has been rated NC-17 and even though the picture here is blurry you can kind of get an idea why. This clip featues two men chained to a metal contraption in the middle of the room…one has his eyes sewed shut and the other his mouth sewn shut:

These movies just get crazier and crazier! I hear that they actually wanted to show the first five minutes of the film but Comic Con wouldn’t allow it. Credit for the clip goes to Wwe azn boi at IMDB.

Upon the news of Detective Kerry’s murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive in the terrified community to assist the veteran Detective Hoffman in sifting through Jigsaw’s latest grizzly remains and piecing together the puzzle. However, when SWAT Commander Rigg is abducted and thrust into a game, the last officer untouched by Jigsaw has but ninety minutes to overcome a series of demented traps and save an old friend or face the deadly consequences.

Gore and everything else aside, I hope this film is more like the original than the last two; even though I liked 2 and 3, they’re kinda just riding off of their shocking twist endings at this point. But nothing will ever top the twist in Saw 1….EVER!
