SYTYCD 3: The Top 20

So You Think You Can Dance has been sort of lackluster for me during the auditions but things picked up with the Hollywood Vegas rounds this week. Here’s a list of all the contestants who made the top 20 this year. I can’t remember 85% because FOX is too slow to put the pictures up on the website.

Pasha
The ballroom dancers partner. Sorry I couldn’t get a better pic! This guy seems like Artem 3.0. I’ll be watching….closely.

Pasha’s partner. I’m surprised she made it through; for some reason I don’t think she’ll last long.

Travis’ adopted brother. I find it odd that they’re labeling Danny as cocky when they really didn’t show any of that footage. If he’s related to Travis Wall, that wouldn’t surprise me at all, and he could really learn a thing or two from Blake McGrath!

The break dancer who got shafted last year because he didn’t have a work visa. Glad he came back, he’ll be one to watch!

Was this the girl with the oil? The one Nigel said could teach the others about performance? I agree, she’s got great stage presence but her skills haven’t done a thing for me yet. The suitcase thing was cool.

This guy was pretty good but his dancing came across sort of odd to me. I can see him being popular though, he’s got a lot of personality too.

Yeah, so a lot of contestants from last year or relatives of contestants from last year. But I really think this group looks promising. Last year I hated the top 20 at first, but I grew to love them and it turned into an awesome season. This year I think there’s more talent in the group right off the bat but I could be wrong. I’m sad that there’s only ONE male ballroom dancers out of the four total! Anyways, last year after they picked the top 20 I said Travis would win, and I came close (but thankfully I was wrong!). There’s no way I can even attempt to make a prediction this time, but it’d be nice if a girl finally won.

But I’ll still hold my strong preference for the guys.
