Avril Lavigne: When You’re Gone

I’m not always a fan of Avril Lavigne and her attitude, but I’ll admit occasionally she releases a song that I really like. “When You’re Gone,” her newest single, is one of those songs. I was hooked on the piano at the beginning, and then the lyrics are a little cheesy, but I like them. And the video is horribly sad, especially for those with loved ones in the Armed Forces.

    So many of her songs would be so much better if SHE wasnt singing hem cause her voice is screechy and abrasive. The piano is really pretty in the beginning…Im always a sucker for a great piano hook. Yeah, this song aint bad.

    Absolutely fantastic 9/10. I would love to hear more like this from Avril. One of the most talented young women of the last five years.
