Jordin Sparks Has A Clothing Line

That’s right, Jordin is the newest celebrity turned “fashion designer” (Im using that term VERY loosely) and has designed a line of party dresses for Wet Seal, creatively titled Sparks. Check out all the pieces from the collection below:

Paris Hilton & Benji Madden Split

And now, in news that will shock no one, Paris Hilton and her boyfriend of nine months Benji Madden have called it quits. Oh wait, there is a shock thrown in there….they actually made it through nine months?!? US Weekly has “sources” that say Benji was “controlling” and that Paris wasn’t herself around him, which was the main reason for the split. And Paris might be hooking back up with her ex Stavros Niarchos, who she was seen with over the weekend.

Atlantis The Palms Opening

Bunches of celebs at the opening of The Palms at the Atlantis resort in Dubai, including Charlize Theron, Lindsay Lohan, Mary Kate Olsen and Mischa Barton. Hmm, Lindsay is looking a bit thin. And Mary Kate *sigh*, her style was just starting to grow on me too. More pics below:

Gucci’s Tattoo Heart Collection Benefit

In case you didn’t know, Rihanna is the new spokesperson for Gucci, and last night she walked the red carpet at Gucci’s Tattoo Heart Benefit wearing two gorgeous gowns; I especially like that short red one.

Madonna was there as well, looking like she had mold growing out of her body.

And so was Blake Lively. It looks like even Gucci couldn’t help this perpetual fashion victim. Her boyfriend (and co-star), Penn Bradgley was there too, looking like he sucked on one too many lemons.

Ashlee Simpson is Still Pregnant

Has Ashlee Simpson not been pregnant for forever it seems? It seems just like she is in her twelfth trimester by now or that she should be pregnant with a two year old. But Ashlee Simpson is nine months pregnant and for some time now she has been at the ‘any day now’ stage. So Ashlee, and the rest of the world are waiting with baited breath for her little bundle.

And of course, because Jessica Simpson is so under the radar, she had to get out and talk about just how pregnant Ashlee is. In an interview with Ellen this past Monday, Jessica said that it looks like Ashlee is going to have to induce her labor. Jessica said ‘they’re going to have to’ and that it is ‘happening very quick’.

In the meantime, Ashlee is trying just about everything to get the ball rolling naturally. She’s trying alternative foot massage therapy, jumping up and down, and probably just about every wives tale to induce labor that has been told. But she remains pregnant.

And yes, this is despite the fact that her hubby Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz posted a message on his web page that there was some ‘breaking news’ that kept him from appearing on Larry King. The verdict is still out on what the breaking news was, perhaps he just needed to stay in for a marathon of Twilight, but who knows. And while they are biding their time until the arrival, they are going over baby names as this is one thing they have yet to agree on.

More than likely, these two trend setters will come up with something witty and clever with some pop culture twist to it. I don’t know….how about Megatron? You could use that for either a boy, OR a girl!
