Hilary Duff Embarrassed by Proposal Photos

Hilary Duff has come forward to the media to share her embarrassment over a photo taken of her snapping her new engagement ring on her phone, just moments after she received it from her husband-to-be, Mike Comrie. The couple were not aware that the paparazzi were taking photos of the whole proposal and could see directly onto the couples hotel balcony, where the event took place.

Duff then took a sneaky pic of her new giant rock to send to her mother – and the paps caught all the action on their cameras simultaneously. She said that she is horrified about the photos taken of her, but especially this photo in particular. She told hollywoodlife.com:

“It was awful. We had no idea they (the paparazzi) were there; it was weird. I hated that I was taking a picture of my ring and sending it to my mom!”

Hilary is now planning her dream big day, which she says will be a small, intimate event. Lets hope no paps manage to peep into the honeymoon suite.
