George Clooney, who has worked alongside fellow actor Brad Pitt on several occasions including in Coen Brothers film ‘Burn After Reading‘, has spoken on his friendship with Brad. George comments that although they are close friends, because they are both so busy, they actually rarely get to spend time together contrary to what people think, which is another reason why George enjoyed the recent awards season – he got to catch up with him:
”People think Brad and I hang out all the time, but the truth is that we see each other very rarely, maybe a couple times a year. ‘I’ve had great fun spending time with my friend again over the awards season.”
George says that he really admires Brad, both as an actor and a person, and he is very proud to talk about their friendship. He even hints that he admires Brad for being a good father (he is raising 6 kids with Angelina Jolie) and generally working to make the world a better place, which is something he really likes:
”Not only do I enjoy him as a person and respect his talent, but I also love what he does in the world. I can’t speak highly enough about how hard he works at making the world better. I’m very proud to call him my friend.”
