Designer Alexander McQueen commits suicide

According to London’s Daily Mail, the British fashion designer was found dead this afternoon in England. His office confirmed the news but did not issue a statement out of respect for his family.

McQueen’s death comes three years after his friend and mentor Isabella Blow killed herself after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

McQueen was only 40. Condolences.
