David Beckham Says His Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is Tiring

David Beckham has admitted that living with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder can get very tiring. David says that when he arrives in a hotel room he has to unpack and get things into a particular order before he is happy to relax, and the constant pressure to arrange things perfectly often gets to him but it is something he has come to accept in recent years:

”It’s not something I worry about. I’ve accepted it. I’m just very obsessive with certain things. Everything has to be in order. That’s the way it is. Walk into a hotel room and before I can get settled I have to unpack, everything has to be perfect; the magazines the right way, the drawers in the right way, or whatever. It is, it’s tiring. But it’s more tiring if it’s not done the right way.”

Speaking on finding some time to relax, David says that he is happy to unwind with a glass of red wine with his family whenever he gets the chance, which he admits isn’t that often. However he says he did get a chance to get drunk during the weekend when he had some time off for a change:

”I let my hair down with my family, the children, my close friends. I like – love actually – a glass of good red wine. When was I last drunk? At the weekend. I had the day off so I had a couple of glasses of red wine. But I’m not a big drinker. I don’t do things excessively.”
