David Beckham Banned Victoria From Getting a Pet Cat

Victoria Beckham wants to add a cat to her family, but husband David has banned the designer from buying the pet because he doesn’t want the cat to bring mice into their home. Victoria, who had her hopes set on on a feline, explains that David is more of a dog person:

 ”I want a cat but David won’t let me have one – he doesn’t want them bringing mice in the house. He’s a dog person.”

Despite being denied a new cat, Victoria comments that she couldn’t be happier with the other new addition to the family – her daughter Harper Seven who she has spent a lot of time with since the birth:

 ”I can’t leave her alone for a minute, I haven’t been out without her since she was born nine weeks ago, she’s too wonderful to leave.”

Victoria jokes that she brought Harper to a Prada store which she seemed to enjoy, already showing her fashionable side:

“We went in to Prada yesterday and she loved it. It was as if she was saying, ‘Mummy I’m home.’ “
