Before her performance at Dallas’ House of Blues the other night, Courtney Love gave a quick update on the state of her band Hole (because the world was dying to know, obviously). The original guitarist, Eric Erlandson, is no longer a part of the band, despite Love still using the name they formed under, and he never will be. You know why? Because they’re from two different sects of Buddhism which forbid their members to associate with one another. That totally makes sense if you think about it, because a) Buddhism is known as a religion of partisanship and exclusion and b) when I think of Courtney Love, I immediately think “inner peace and wisdom from the abstention of material possessions, like heroin and fucked-up boob implants.”

Also, she thinks Scarlett Johansson is a great choice to play her in a biopic because “She’s not that much prettier than me.” I’m just going to let that stand on its own.
