Christina Milian Opens Up On Marriage From “Hell”

Christina Milian has been playing it quiet since her relationship with husband The Dream quite publicly fell apart, but now the singer has opened up on how she feels about the ill-fated marriage to the rapper/producer who has recently worked alongside Kim Kardashian on her debut single. The couple had a particularly messy split, as Christina was pregnant at the time (she filed for divorce just a few days before giving birth), and when the news of their split went public, so did photos of The Dream getting close to a new girl. Christina speaks:

“I’ve been to hell and back, but I survived, I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work, but ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.”

She says of the cheating scandal:

“I didn’t know anything. But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it.”

Now that she can put the events of last year behind her, Christina says she is moving on:

“I feel brand new, I’m ready for the next phase of my life.”
