Glee actor Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt Hummel on the hit show, has spoken about how anxious he is because the show is about to air a gay sex scene which will show his character losing his virginity with on-screen boyfriend Blaine. Speaking on filming the scene, Chris says that it covers a “sensitive topic”:
”It covers a very sensitive topic, and I think the show is infamous for handling sensitive topics with care.”
Chris was initially scared when he found out what was going to happen, but that changed as he read the script:
“When I found out the concept for ‘The First Time’ . Darren and I looked at each other with huge, wide eyes and went ‘what, that’s going to happen?!’ We got a little scared when we first found out, but when we got the script of course it was fine. Everything that I thought would scare me and make me cringe was sweet and emotional.”
Speaking on the show’s new arrival, Sebastian, who is played by Grant Gustin, Chris says there may be some drama in store:
“you should be afraid. Be very afraid.”
