Actress Chloe Moretz has revealed that she has banned all of her friends from coming to her premieres because she thinks it puts off her concentration. She also doesn’t allow them to visit her on set for the same reason, and basically likes to keep her work life separated from her friends because then she can relax around them and take some needed time off when she gets the chance:
”I don’t let them visit me filming and I don’t bring them to premieres. It’s a different head zone – when I’m on set, I’m working. When I’m just with my friends, I can just hang out, do normal stuff and generally be a complete idiot. It’s the same with everyone.”
Chloe says her older brother helped her on the path to fame by teaching her some of the acting skills he picked up at school and this was a comfortable, great way to learn. The family duo decided to hit up some auditions to see if anything would come of her new skills:
”I remember thinking, ‘Whatever this is, it makes me happy, and I want to do it,’ so we decided to do a few auditions, just to see. And Trevor said he’d teach me the acting skills he learned at school. If felt really comfortable, because it was just me hanging out with my brother.”
She is also inspired by another member of her family – her mother. She admires her style greatly and believes she owns some amazing clothes, including some vintage pieces from her past:
”She has some of the best clothes ever. There’s this insane red blazer from the 80s, it is literally the chicest thing. But it’s important that I don’t wear clothes that make me look way older than I am… like 25.”
